Filipino Martial Arts - Arnis Kali Eskrima (Ages 13 - Adult)

F.M.A. - Disarms, empty hand, footwork, striking, joint locks, sweeps and throws will be taught as well as various single & double stick drills. Nunchaku, Kali Sticks & Sword are a few of the traditional training methods taught in this class. Safety is stressed, as well as proper respect for self and others. Class utilizes individual training as well as partner training drills. One of the more exciting exercises that students look forward to in this class is the padded stick sparring, with full protective gear of course! UMSA uniform & 2 Arnis canes and 1 padded training stick are required for this class and will be available for purchase the first week of class.
